We all have a unique background and personality. Everyone has a different story, journey and title but we all have one thing in common—someone special calls us Mom. This series celebrates all moms, no matter how we got the title. Today’s featured mom is Jen Murray—local blogger, mom of quads and all around awesome gal.
How did you get the name Mom? I became a mother of 4 in one infamous day. My quadruplet boys: Henry, Brooks, Clark, and Isaac were born in February of 2007.
What is your favorite thing about being a mom? Oh goodness… I think knowing that I’ve given life to 4 individual beings is so rewarding (especially in our particular situation where we were advised to terminate their lives). Watching them interact and buddy up as brothers, watching them learn and grow, being depended on, are all so rewarding.
What is your biggest motherhood challenge? The noise! Four boys (even when they are happy) makes for a VERY noisy home. Throw their daddy in the mix and it’s near deafening.
If you could say one thing to every new mother, what would it be? Be confident. Sure you are going to mess up. You’ll have epic failures. However, you know your child better than any one else on this earth. Trust your instincts and be confident in knowing what’s best for this little life that you are responsible for!
