Preschool Gift Ideas: Holiday Dance Party Music (Plus KidzBop Giveaway)

You know how the hustle and bustle of Christmas make you 1,000,000 times more likely to snap at kids who are 1,000,000 times more likely to be hyped up on sugar? No? Well, I do. I try to keep my cool with the many extra tasks to be done around the holidays, but I’m not always successful.

Having an activity for the kids to do indoors that still burns off energy is a great way for me to keep a tiny bit of sanity while the kids get to have fun. A living room dance party is just the thing to give me a moment to regroup and the kids the opportunity to use up some of those Christmas Cookie Calories.

We dance through frustrations often, and KidzBop has always been a great DJ for our parties.

We have had a few different KidzBop CDs throughout the years. I even remember having something similar around when I was a kid. We have kept them in the car and had more dance parties than I can count with kids singing current music.

The best thing about KidzBop is that you won’t have to explain the missing words or explain what rhymes with hug me when you listen. The music gives young kids the opportunity to enjoy the same songs the big kids are listening to — keeping it age appropriate and entertaining for all of us.

KidzBop music is a compilation of songs we love — no need to skip tracks to keep the energy up. What preschooler doesn’t love to dance around? And when Mom gets to burn some calories in the process, I’ll call it a win.

The latest release — KidzBop 24 — features so many of our favorites this year. Thrift Shop, Girl on Fire, I Knew You Were Trouble — I can’t wait to dance with the little ones. But, the best part will be kicking off our holiday dance parties with KidzBop Christmas. The entire KidzBop set, featuring KidzBop 24, KidzBop Christmas, and a KidzBop Tooth Tunes toothbrush, is the perfect gift for preschool children. I am sure Santa will be filling many little stockings with preschool music.

My name is Mom. I live in Fairy Tale Land with a Pirate, a Fairy and the Princess. My job duties include: head cook, Chief Executive of Laundry Operations, Vacuum Maintenance Engineer, Chief of Picking up Random objects and Primary Sherpa. I spend a great deal of time carrying sparkly, sequined, glitter covered tutus and miscellaneous dance shoes for the Princess. I long for moments of quiet and a mani/pedi. Trying to strike a balance between being a grown up and being a good mom. FairyTaleMom tagged this post with: , , , , Read 52 articles by

Shhh, I’m a sucker for pop Christmas music. 🙂

My kids LOVE Christmas music and it’s on every time we’re in the car or music is on in our home. It makes me happy, even when I’m stressing about Christmas.
